On April 10, twenty nine Lally undergraduates were inducted into the Epsilon Delta Sigma Management Honor Society. Founded in 1948, Epsilon Delta Sigma has a long history of serving Rensselaer and the community. Working in conjunction with the Lally School faculty, EDS assists in the educational development of undergraduate management students while supporting the progress of the school into the premier technologically-centered entrepreneurship institution in the country.
Since its founding, Epsilon Delta Sigma has been committed to attracting and developing exceptional leaders at the Lally School. Membership in the society is by invitation only. Candidates must have completed 3 semesters at Rensselaer with a 3.5 GPA or higher, demonstrate leadership experience and involvement in extracurricular and community activities, and receive a faculty recommendation.
EDS meets monthly and currently has about 50 members, who offer tutoring, host executive lectures and corporate field trips, and perform community service. All members are invited to submit their resumes for the EDS resume book, which is distributed to recruiters on campus.
